Our ECLIPSE Standard Training covers most ECLIPSE modules and solutions. We have several training options to help your team get the best results from the ECLIPSE Software Suite. If required, we can also offer a Tailored Training by combining multiple standard trainings. On this page, you can find information on the Standard training.
The training materials we use
Our trainers take pride in making the best training packages possible. Our training typically includes:
- Lectures: Clear explanations of key concepts and module functions.
- Interactive demonstrations: Live, guided walkthroughs of the system in action.
- Assignments: Practical exercises to reinforce learning through real-world tasks.
- Discussions and Q&A: Opportunities to ask questions, share insights, and clarify understanding.
Audience-specific training packages
The training packages are designed with a specific target audience in mind. Typically, we have the following levels available:
- Basic Level: Gives a good perspective on how to work with the ECLIPSE modules and what is possible. They are essential training for the majority of users.
- Advanced Level: Advanced training for power users and memorable ECLIPSE roles such as Documentalists, Risk Managers, and PA managers
- Administrator Level: Learn how to grant and revoke access, set up Eclipse projects, and apply customizations. These training programs are made for Administrator roles.
Completing the Basic Level before taking the Advanced or Administrator courses is recommended.
ECLIPSE Module Training Options
We offer separate training for each ECLIPSE module/solution you purchase. For each module, we have described the standard training options below.

An overview of the ECLIPSE Standard Training options
DCCM Training
DCCM training is designed for users who manage documents and data throughout their lifecycle within the DCCM application. There are three training packages available for DCCM:
- DCCM Essentials: An introductory training course that enables users to retrieve, create, and manage the document lifecycle.
- DCCM Advanced: We cover more complex features, such as the import function and document collections.
- DCCM Administrator: Training will allow users to tailor the application to the environment’s needs and set user access. Because of the large number of features in this module, it is strongly advised that participants in DCCM Advanced and DCCM Administrator complete DCCM Essentials first.
eRID Training
eRID training is organized for people who have a RID review role. There are two types of training for eRID:
- eRID Essentials: The training will explain how eRID can be used to complete the activities for any role throughout RID reviews. Due to the variety in roles, we typically offer this as tailored training. We have trainings for the following eRID roles: RID Creators, Panel Chairmen, Secretaries, and Contractors. The training courses per role are short sessions of about an hour, allowing them to be embedded into kick-off meetings.
- eRID for Review Managers: This training equips Review Managers with the skills to oversee and coordinate the entire RID review process within eRID. Participants will learn to manage review workflows, assign roles, monitor progress, and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring smooth and compliant RID management.
AIM Training
AIM tracks action items across the ECLIPSE Software Suite and is recommended for all ECLIPSE users. Two packages are available:
- Mastering Action Item Management with AIM: Creating, viewing, and recording progress on Action Items is covered in this training course.
- AIM Administrator: Administrator training will teach you how to set up and ensure the proper customization for your AIM module.
eNCTS Training
eNCTS training is intended for users responsible for creating, managing, and reviewing Non-Conformance Reports within the eNCTS system. Three training packages are available for eNTCS:
- eNCTS Essentials: Covers basic training, enabling users to search for Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), NC Review Boards (NRBs), and NCR creation.
- eNCTS Advanced: This covers complex features used by Product Assurance managers, such as NRB creation, closing NCRs, and the import function.
- eNCTS Administrator: Users learn to tailor the application to the environment’s needs and set user access.
eRISK Training
eRISK training is for users looking to identify, assess, and manage project risks. Two training packages are available for eRISK:
- eRISK Advanced: A training course enabling both regular and power users to create risks and retrieve them. Next to this, it also covers more complex features, such as lifecycle management of risks and risk assessments.
- eRISK Administrator: Allows users to tailor the application to the environment’s needs and set user access.
DAB Training
DAB training is available for individuals who create and manage processes and workflows and users who want to develop applications within the DAB module. We have two standard training courses available for DAB:
- DAB Essentials: DAB Application creators learn how to create processes within the DAB Module.
- DAB Application Creator and Manager: This course teaches users how to set up projects, manage user access (including granting and revoking permissions), and apply customizations within the DAB module to meet specific workflow requirements.
Other modules
Some of our other modules in operation, like DASH, PCM, EEE, and ICMDB, are highly customizable, and training will depend on your needs. This makes a one-size-fits-all approach less effective. For these cases, we offer tailored training instead. This ensures the content is directly relevant to how your organisation uses the module and provides more value than a fixed training package.
Frequently Asked Questions
Below, we have noted some common questions about our training.
Can I combine multiple Standard Trainings?
Yes, we can combine elements from different Standard Training Packages to create a tailored training program that better suits your organisation’s specific needs. This approach is especially useful when there is significant overlap between modules, allowing us to streamline the content and reduce training time without sacrificing quality.
Where do we deliver the training?
We have several options for the training delivery method.
- Classroom: We can deliver the training in a physical location so your team can be in the same room as our ECLIPSE trainer and have a more personal experience. Typically, we deliver training at client sites. Classroom-based training uses short iterations of slides, demonstrations, and assignments.
- Virtual: Enjoy the flexibility of learning from anywhere with our remote training options. We deliver training directly to your team remotely via Teams. Our remote training schedule utilizes short bursts of lectures, demonstrations, and assignments, keeping you engaged. The remote training is supported by a training schedule customized for delivery to you.
- Offline: Participants learn independently through recorded videos, downloadable modules, and practice exercises.
How do I choose the proper ECLIPSE training for my team?
When choosing an ECLIPSE training, you can follow the following steps.
- Pick your modules: Identify which ECLIPSE modules your team will use (e.g., DCCM, eRID, AIM).
- Select the level: Choose Essentials for beginners, Advanced for experienced users, or Administrator for system managers.
- Choose a format: Decide between in-person, virtual, or self-paced e-learning.
- Need something tailored? Consider asking about custom or industry-specific training.
- When you are ready, contact our team, and we will help you find the best option.
If you would like these steps explained, we invite you to read our article on choosing the right training.
How long does the ECLIPSE training take?
Standard training courses are designed with fixed durations because they are built to prepare users for specific roles within a module. Most standard training sessions last approximately 3 to 4 hours.
When multiple standard courses are delivered to the same audience, we often combine and streamline the content for increased efficiency. For example, overlapping topics can be addressed once rather than repeated across modules.
Training sessions can also be scheduled to suit participant availability, for instance:
- One full day (8 hours)
- Two half-day sessions (4 hours each)
- Four shorter sessions (2 hours each)
Next, we can adapt our training agenda to minimise disruption to your team’s regular work.
