ASI are the first national agency to obtain Sapienza’s space-sector leading ECLIPSE Software Suite.
Within over twenty years’ time, ASI became one of the most significant players in the world in space science, satellite technologies and the development of mobile systems for exploring the Universe. Today, ASI has a key role at the European level where Italy is the third contributor country to the European Space Agency.
ASI were looking for an integrated tool to manage documentation, record their project Non-Conformances and subsequent tracking of related actions. Prior to obtaining ECLIPSE, ASI had been using share drives, 3rd party varied (free) applications and excel spreadsheets to manage these processes, and whilst the previous options were free, neither brought strong enough configuration management or efficiencies to their programmes and projects
